How Tiny Fishing works

Every cast starts the moment you drop your line. The deeper your rod goes, the better the fish you can reach.

Each cast works the same way:

• Drop the line into the water
• Collect fish automatically on the way back up
• Sell everything you catch
• Spend money to improve your gear

At first, each upgrade only adds a little. Then you hit a new depth and suddenly the fish you pull up are worth double.

Earning more cash

There are 3 ways to get more money in Tiny Fishing besides fishing: offline earnings, the aquarium and the bonus game.

• Offline earnings: When you are away from the game, you will continue to earn cash. This starts off at $5/minute and can be improved to earn money while you're not playing.
• Aquarium: All of the fish you have caught are here. Visiting the aquarium lets you collect cash from them all every few minutes.
• Bonus prize mini game: Occasionally after a cast, a "Win a Prize" screen appears. You tap tiles to reveal random prizes like extra cash or hooks. These bonus rewards help you upgrade faster.

Tiny Fishing upgrades

There are 3 upgrades in Tiny Fishing

• Max fishes: Each upgrade lets you catch one more fish when you cast your line. You will start off by only being able to catch 3 fish but this can be improved many times.
• Max depth: Starting at 3m, you can go 1 meter deeper every time you upgrade this.
• Offline earnings: This raises the amount of cash you make for every minute you're offline.

Starter fish in Tiny Fishing

Early on, you'll catch Blue Fish worth $10. Over time, upgrading your max depth will unlock fish that are worth more money like sharks, dolphins and seahorses.

Rare and legendary fish

You will notice that certain fish like the blue fish have different colors. These are the rare and legendary fish.

• Rare fish: Slightly different colors from the normal fish.
• Legendary fish: These fish glow gold and can turn one normal trip into a huge amount of money.
