How Talking Tom Gold Run works

Your character runs forward automatically across 3 lanes.

• Move left and right to avoid obstacles.
• Jump over low hazards and slide under signs and barriers.

At first, the obstacles are simple. Then they start coming closer together. Trucks block one lane while barriers close another, leaving you a split second to react. Some rows of gold bars sit in dangerous spots on purpose, tempting you to quickly switch lanes for more gold.

The longer you survive, the faster the traffic, barriers and lane changes start coming at you.. Staying alive is more about reacting quickly when the road suddenly changes. Crashing usually ends the run instantly unless you have protection from items like the Helmet.

Boss fights

Roy Rakoon does not just run away. Sometimes he shows up in a truck and starts throwing obstacles and bombs onto the road while you chase him.

During these sections, the run turns into a mini boss fight. You dodge his attacks and kick chili bombs back toward Roy's truck. Beat Roy and you earn huge piles of gold bars and diamonds.

Building homes

Every gold bar you collect helps upgrade homes for Tom and his friends. Upgrading your home helps you earn more points during runs.

Completing a home unlocks a new character and opens another world to run through. This means even short runs help you unlock new stuff.

Worlds

There are 8 worlds in total. You unlock new worlds by completing homes.

• Tom's House: Suburban streets with cars, trucks and road barriers. The starting world.
• Angela's House: City setting with tighter lanes.
• Hank's Home: A tropical island world.
• Ginger's Forest Fun: Woodland environment with forest obstacles like tree logs and rocks.
• Ben's Adventure: Unlocked deeper into the game.
• Tom's Snow Ride: Winter setting with icy obstacles.
• Venice Canals: Waterside streets inspired by Venice.
• China Dragon World: Vibrant world with a Chinese festival theme.

Characters

There are 6 playable characters in Talking Tom Gold Run. You start as Tom and unlock the rest by fully upgrading each character's home. Each character also has multiple skins that you can unlock using gold bars or diamonds.

• Tom: Optimistic, accident-prone and always ready for a chase.
• Angela: Tom's girlfriend. Unlocked by completing Tom's House.
• Hank: Laid-back and loyal. Unlocked by completing Angela's House.
• Ginger: The youngest of the group and a born troublemaker. Unlocked by completing Hank's Home.
• Ben: Tom's best friend and the brains of the group. Unlocked by completing Ginger's Forest Fun.
• Becca: Angela's roommate. Unlocked by completing Ben's Adventure.

Power-ups

Power-ups appear during runs and help you survive longer or collect more gold. Each one can be upgraded to last longer.

• Magnet: Pulls nearby gold bars toward you automatically. Lets you collect more without switching lanes.
• Helmet: Absorbs one crash. Instead of ending the run, the helmet breaks and you keep going.
• Double Bars: Doubles the value of every gold bar you pick up while active.
• Plane: Launches you above all obstacles for a few seconds.
